What's the use of red light?
Red light gives you a plus in terms of safety. You won't be dazzled and you won't dazzle people around you, unlike white light, which is why your eyes can get used to the dark. You'll have less difficulty perceiving your surroundings. Conversely, with a strong white light, you'll often see nothing at all, because you'll be dazzled.
